The Easter bunny is also bringing spring this year

The Easter bunny usually brings eggs, but this year he's also bringing spring with him: next weekend we can expect lots of sunshine and temperatures of up to 23 degrees throughout Upper Austria.

"The three days from Good Friday will be very mild with foehn winds. The weather will be friendly, with only harmless veil clouds", says meteorologist Alexander Ohms from GeoSphere Austria to the "Krone". So nothing stands in the way of outdoor Easter celebrations.

The weather will start to change as early as today, Monday. "There will still be dense clouds in the morning, and it may even rain occasionally, but that will soon be over," says Ohms. The sun comes through in the afternoon and the wind dies down.

A tough night for people and flowers
On Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will climb up to 18 degrees. "There will only be one more disturbance, probably between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, when there will be some rain," predicts the expert.

And the fruit trees and plants that are already in bloom will also have to survive one more night: From Monday to Tuesday, there may be a light frost in some regions.
