Crazy final period! Oilers crush Buffalo

Thanks to a brilliant performance in the final period with five goals, the Edmonton Oilers have celebrated an 8:3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL. Ice hockey superstar Connor McDavid recorded four assists on Thursday, Mattias Ekholm two goals and an assist, Leon Draisaitl one goal and two assists and Zach Hyman two goals. 

It was the Oilers' ninth win in their last twelve games.

The New Jersey Devils celebrated an important victory over the Western Conference's top team, the Winnipeg Jets. Thanks to the 4:1 win in front of their home crowd, in which Jack Hughes scored twice, the Devils can keep their hopes of reaching the play-offs alive. However, the team from Newark must make up a six-point deficit in the remaining twelve games.
