After Aleksandar Pavlovic (tonsillitis) and Manuel Neuer (muscle fiber tear), Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann will now also have to do without the services of national team newcomer Jan-Niklas Beste in the friendly against France on Saturday.
As the DFB announced on its social media channels, the left winger suffered an adductor strain in training and had to leave Frankfurt, where the team is currently training.
Debut postponed
Bitter: Beste was called up to the team squad for the first time a few days ago, but the injury has now delayed the Heidenheim professional's debut in a DFB jersey.
