Is Tuchel deliberately ignoring this new winter signing?

Thomas Tuchel has announced that he will be uncompromising when making squad decisions in future and has recently put this into practice. The turnaround seems to prove him right. However, there are also losers. One of them is new signing Bryan Zaragoza. Tuchel is said to have never spoken to him.

The Spanish winter signing was not even in the Bayern squad for the game against Darmstadt on Saturday. The 22-year-old was brought to Munich shortly before the transfer deadline in order to compensate for the absences in attack.

But since then, Zaragoza has only made brief appearances. Now that the injury list is slowly thinning out, he is no longer even guaranteed a place in the squad. Tuchel is also said to have never spoken to him, as Spanish media are now reporting.

Difficult initial phase
Bayern did not want to comment on these explosive rumors. The coach only recently explained that the attacking player is still having problems settling in. "First and foremost, Bryan simply lacks the language. It's difficult without English and German, that's an elementary component," said Tuchel.

At the moment, it doesn't look as if the Spaniard will get many more minutes on the pitch in the remaining games. Nevertheless, Munich are still convinced of his quality. Tuchel leaves the club in the summer, Zaragoza has a contract until 2029.
