Carinthia’s fire departments strap on their skis!

Without a siren alarm: the Carinthian State Fire Brigade Association once again invited people to get to know each other and celebrate on the Katschberg.

The Carinthian State Fire Brigade Association hosted a joint ski day on the Katschberg. In addition to skiing in the sunshine, the program also included a stop for refreshments. "It's always nice when so many comrades come together," said a delighted Kurt Schober, Spittal's district fire brigade commander.

At the "suction point" of the Katschberg fire department, there was not only après-ski music and open beer tapped from hydrants, but also hot roast pork sandwiches and farmer's doughnuts. The comrades from the province got to know each other at the nail stick. The nailing competition was won by section fire department commander Josef Heiß from Rennweg. "A great event!" said mountain railway boss Josef Bogensperger.
