A serious accident occurred on Saturday morning on Loferer Straße in Wörgl! A local man (26) drove his car into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming car. Two people were injured.
The 26-year-old local man was driving his car on Loferer Straße in Wörgl at around 7.40 am. For reasons as yet unknown, he crossed into the oncoming lane and collided sideways with the oncoming vehicle of a 29-year-old local woman.
Two of the woman's passengers were slightly injured in the crash and were taken to hospital in Kufstein by ambulance. "A breathalyzer test carried out on the 26-year-old was positive," said the police. His license was taken from him on the spot. Both vehicles were totaled.
As a result of the accident, Loferer Straße was closed to all traffic until around 9 am. Two police patrols, the ambulance service and the Bruckhäusl fire department were deployed.
