"Twins" comeback
DeVito: Mysterious film project with Arnie
The most unlikely "Twins" of all time are about to make a movie comeback. After Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito appeared on stage together at the Oscars, an encore is planned for the future.
DeVito revealed in an interview with "Fox News Digital": "He's my good buddy who I always have a great time with. We're also trying to do another movie together."
"Can't wait"
However, the 79-year-old threw in that it won't be a part 2 of the 1988 comedy "Twins - Twins". Devito is not yet willing to reveal exactly what kind of movie the two are planning: "I can only say that the script is currently being written. And Arnold and I can't wait to be back on the big screen together."
Friends thanks to Reitman
It was director Ivan Reitman who brought the action star and the comedy actor together almost 40 years ago.
In addition to "Twins", he also directed the second film in which Schwarzenegger and DeVito appeared together - 1994's "Junior".
DeVito on Reitman, who died in 2022: "Sadly, Ivan is no longer with us. Without him, Arnie and I would never have become friends."
"Keep your fingers crossed!"
Despite their friendship, Schwarzenegger still hasn't managed one thing: "He always tries to get me to train with him in the gym. But I always refuse!"
Instead, Danny often visits his buddy in his Los Angeles villa: "He's just a really nice guy. So keep your fingers crossed that we can manage another production together!"
