Scandal in Pilsen! Goalie knocked out after throwing a cup.

An ugly moment and a lot of excitement in the Conference League clash between Viktoria Pilsen and Servette Geneva: shortly before the end of the first half, guest goalkeeper Jérémy Frick was hit by a beer cup and knocked out! 

What happened: After a brief VAR check for a suspected penalty, referee William Collum gave the game in minute 39 for a kick by the Servette goalie.

But before Frick could even lay the ball on for the kick, he suddenly went down next to the goal.

And why? Because he had been hit by a beverage cup - probably full of beer in the beer-brewing city of Pilsen - from the home team's fan block ...

At least the 31-year-old Swiss player gritted his teeth and was able to continue after a short treatment

Incidentally, Viktoria Pilsen won the game in the end - after a 0-0 draw in the first leg and a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes this evening, a penalty shoot-out was required.

And this ended with a 3:1 win for the Czechs ...
