Tedesco remains Belgian team manager until the 2026 World Cup

Three months before the European Championship, Domenico Tedesco has extended his contract as coach of the Belgian national soccer team until 2026. The 38-year-old will also lead the Red Devils to the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA in two years' time, regardless of the outcome of the European Championships. 

Tedesco took over Kevin De Bruyne's team in February 2023 as the successor to Roberto Martínez and led them to group victory ahead of Austria in the European Championship qualifiers.

Belgium will play against Slovakia, Romania and a team from the play-offs in Group E at this summer's European Championship. The Belgians are also among the favorites at this tournament.
