Driver drove into oncoming lane – head-on crash

There was quite a crash on Bödelestraße in Schwarzenberg on Monday morning. In a head-on collision, the two vehicles involved in the accident both ended up as total losses, but fortunately the people involved only suffered minor injuries.

Shortly after 8 a.m., a man was driving from Schwarzenberg on Bödelestraße in the direction of Dornbirn. For reasons that are not yet clear, he drifted onto the oncoming lane in a slight right-hand bend. Just at this moment, another vehicle with two occupants came towards him - its driver reacted quickly to initiate emergency braking, but was unable to prevent the collision. His car ended up in the ditch, while the other car involved in the accident came to a standstill on the opposite side of the road.

The three people involved in the accident were only slightly injured, but the two cars are now destined for the scrap press. Alcohol was not involved.
