Rock starlet (7) plays her first own song

At the age of seven, Xena Morgana is already pretty loud and knows what she wants. No wonder: the Pongau native is a young rocker and loves loud guitar sounds. Now she presents her first own rock song.

"I want to do what I want for the rest of my life," sings Xena Morgana. The determined girl is only seven, but already has the attitude of a real rock star. However, the real reason for the announcement by the girl from St. Johann im Pongau is something else: her first own rock song "Do what you want". The rock starlet will perform it for the first time today, Saturday, in Hof (K.U.L.T.Night, 7 pm).

In real life, the seven-year-old still has to go to school and do her homework. Of course, she can't just do whatever she wants. But Xena Morgana then works hard on her own music career. One of the reasons the rocker has become famous in recent years is because she has performed with KISS cover bands. She became an internet hit, and the number of performances with make-up and costumes increased.

With "Do what you want", the seven-year-old is now going her own way. "I prefer to play my own stuff," she says. She arranged the guitar riffs for the song herself and wrote the lyrics. Dad Marcello only helped out. The father encourages his daughter's passion wherever he can.

However, it is important for him to emphasize that she wants to make her way into the limelight of her own free will. "Sometimes we even have to slow her down when she's playing the guitar," says the proud dad.
