Shock for Mirja du Mont: diagnosed with cancer for the second time

It was a shock moment for the actress! Mirja du Mont has been diagnosed with white skin cancer again. The model announced the news in an Instagram story.

"People please go to the dermatologist for a cancer screening! I had to have white skin cancer removed today," the 48-year-old wrote on Instagram. Mirja du Mont posted two pictures of the area where she had to be treated in her story.

Two added emojis as praying hands obviously express how grateful the actress is for the treatment and the positive outcome.

The second photo showed the treated area after the procedure. Mirja du Mont told Bild: "I have white skin cancer in my décolleté. I've also had it on my groin. That was last year."

Not the first time she's had skin cancer
Mirja du Mont made a skin cancer diagnosis public on Instagram back in 2021. She had gone for a check-up when she "discovered a change in the skin on her stomach". After a sample was taken, she was diagnosed with white skin cancer.

"It was a localized basal cell carcinoma, which did not spread further in the body after removal," she continued, giving the all-clear: "The basal cell carcinoma was removed after a minor operation." She also wrote to her followers at the time: "Please go for regular skin cancer screening."
