Speeding driver caught
At 90 km/h and with slippery tires through the local area
The patrol officers were only stationed for a short time with their laser pistols in the Exlwöhr area in the municipality of Vöcklamarkt. But that was enough to pull several blatant speeders off the road. A Swiss driver who was caught driving at 90 km/h with completely treadless winter tires took the cake.
Totally irresponsible! Both rear tires of the car with Swiss license plates were worn down to the wire mesh. But that didn't stop the driver from driving 40 km/h too fast in the 50 km/h zone in the local area. The man had to hand in the license plates of his car on the spot. He was reported to the police and can now expect a hefty fine.
The driving of a test driver's license driver on his motorcycle was also crazy. He sped through Exlwöhr at 102 km/h and was caught by the police.
This man and another car driver, who was also clearly speeding at 95 km/h, had to surrender their driving licenses. Two speeding drivers were also caught at 90 km/h and another at 86 km/h. They will now all be asked to pay a hefty fine.
