Transfers planned
These four strikers are on Arsenal’s wish list
Arsenal FC are apparently looking for reinforcements in attack. According to the German newspaper "Sportbild", Mikel Arteta has put four names on his wish list for the summer.
Viktor Gyökeres, for example, is said to have caught the Spaniard's eye. The 25-year-old is currently under contract with Sporting Lisbon, and the Swede has already scored 31 goals and provided 11 assists in 34 competitive games this season. In addition to Arsenal, city rivals Chelsea are also said to be courting Gyökeres' services.
Also on the Gunners' wish list: Joshua Zirkzee. The former Bayern professional currently plays for Bologna in Serie A. In 25 games there, the 22-year-old Dutchman has scored nine goals and provided four assists.
Proud price tag
With Victor Osimhen, an Italian champion has played his way into Arsenal's focus. With 26 goals and five assists, the now 25-year-old Nigerian shot SSC Napoli to their first title in 33 years last season. Since then, Osimhen has been one of the most sought-after strikers in the world - although this has also had an impact on his market value. This currently stands at a proud 110 million euros.
Back after suspension
Last but not least, Ivan Toney is also said to be a topic of conversation in North London. After the 27-year-old Englishman was recently banned for illegal sports betting, he has been back in the Brentford squad for a few weeks, where he wants to pick up where he left off before his sentence - scoring goals. Toney netted 21 times for the Premier League club last season.
Arsenal fans can look forward to an exciting summer transfer window.
