One injured due to carbon monoxide leakage

Another accident with dangerous carbon monoxide! The odorless gas escaped in an event building, presumably due to a faulty heating system. Fortunately, this time the incident had a minor outcome and a technician was taken to hospital with symptoms of poisoning. 

The emergency services were called to a gas leak late Tuesday morning. Technicians from an energy supply company had already been on site. However, they immediately called in the fire department when the measuring devices detected carbon monoxide. 

When the measurements taken by the firefighters confirmed this, they immediately began to ventilate the premises. An in-house technician had already inhaled the gas beforehand, but got off lightly: he was taken to Grieskirchen Hospital with minor injuries by the ambulance service.
