Young lawyer exposed as drug dealer: remand in custody

Serious allegations are made against a lawyer: The former legal trainee from Styria is accused of drug trafficking on a large scale. He and his accomplice, a 51-year-old Serb, are now in custody in Graz.

Not many details are yet known about this explosive case. Investigations are still ongoing. What is certain, however, is that the 32-year-old is said to have dealt in large quantities of cocaine and amphetamine. His accomplice only dealt in coke.

Pre-trial detention extended
Rumour has it that a criminal organization from the Balkans was pulling the strings in the background. The drug duo was arrested on February 11. The pre-trial detention of the lawyer and his accomplice was only extended by one month on Monday, as confirmed by Hansjörg Bacher, spokesman for the public prosecutor's office in Graz.
