Teenagers push travelers down escalator
A 45-year-old man and his 38-year-old companion were pushed down an escalator by three teenagers at Munich Central Station on Sunday. The man, who was lying on the ground, was then kicked. The perpetrators are at large.
Before the attack, in which the two victims were slightly injured, there is said to have been an argument between the adults and the teenage trio on a train. The teenagers are said to have insulted and spat at the man and the woman.
A police spokeswoman said on Monday that the exact background still had to be determined. A 16-year-old was provisionally arrested after the incident. He is being investigated for dangerous bodily harm, among other things, the police said. He was later released. The investigation into the two other suspects is still ongoing.
