Seven fire departments with a total of 91 members were involved in the fire in the warehouse in Hollabrunn on Thursday night. According to the helpers, several parked vehicles were rescued. During the extinguishing work, large parts of the roof truss also collapsed twice. 15 breathing apparatus teams were deployed.
When the first firefighters arrived, meter-high flames had already burst out of the building, reported the Hollabrunn volunteer fire department. The extensive firefighting operation was carried out from all sides.
A turntable ladder and a water cannon were also used, as well as a drone to assess the situation. In addition, several breathing apparatus teams entered the hall. Several police patrols and the Red Cross were also deployed.
