Fire in Kufstein print shop claimed the fire department

At around 12.30 p.m. on Thursday, the sirens blared in Kufstein in Tyrol. A fire had broken out in a commercial business in Stuttgarter Straße. The fire department's emergency services were very busy fighting the fire. 

Dark smoke rose into the sky in Kufstein shortly after midday. The fire in a print shop was visible for miles around. The fire department deployed 33 firefighters and five vehicles. An emergency medical team and several police patrols were also on site.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished within a short time. However, the heavy smoke made the operation more difficult.

A faulty printer was the cause
No one was injured in the fire. However, the damage to property is likely to be considerable. According to the police, initial investigations into the cause of the fire indicate that a technical defect in a CO-2 printer may have been responsible.
