Large-scale operation due to renewed bomb threat

The bomb threats in Upper Austria continue. On Friday, the city center of Vöcklabruck was affected, the police secured and searched the area after a report. In the end, the all-clear was given - once again.

The day after a bomb threat was received at HTL Steyr, there was another similar alarm. A large number of police officers were out and about in Vöcklabruck's town center; according to the threat, it was a dumped container.

Every threat must be taken seriously
As there have been numerous bomb threats in the past due to a group of perpetrators making a joke out of it, it was assumed that this was another such "hoax". Nevertheless, all threats must be taken seriously and are treated as such. In the end, however, the all-clear could once again be given in Vöcklabruck.
