Test driver’s license holder raced on the Tauern motorway

A young Upper Austrian (22) sped along the Tauern highway near Flachau at a whopping 159 km/h with a speed limit of 100. He was reported to the police and had to hand in his probationary driver's license on the spot. He was not the only traffic offender on the A10.

A 57-year-old truck driver was also stopped on the Tauern highway and subjected to a check. This revealed that the driver had been driving without a driver card for three days.

He had declared the time as rest time. He was charged with forgery of evidence and various administrative offenses at the Hallein police station
