Arsenal suffered a bitter 1-0 defeat against West Ham United on matchday 26 in the Premier League. As a result, the Londoners failed to increase the pressure on league leaders Liverpool. Crystal Palace and coach Oliver Glasner, on the other hand, recorded an important 2-0 win against Fulham. Tottenham were also convincing against Ipswich Town.

Arsenal suffered a major setback in the English Premier League title race. The runners-up lost the London derby at home to West Ham United 0:1 (0:1) on Saturday and are still eight points behind Liverpool FC, who visit champions Manchester City on Sunday. Coach Oliver Glasner celebrated his fourth away win in a row with Crystal Palace with a 2:0 (1:0) at Fulham.

A header from Jarrod Bowen (44) meant Arsenal's first defeat since November 2. Mikel Arteta's side failed to recover after the break and hardly created any good chances. After Myles Lewis-Skelly was sent off, Arsenal played the final 20 minutes with a man less.

Fourth 2-0 away win in a row for Glasner
Crystal Palace consolidated their place in mid-table with a result they had become accustomed to. Upper Austrian Glasner's side also won their fourth away game of the calendar year and fourth in a row with a 2-0 victory. An own goal from Joachim Andersen (37') and a goal from Daniel Munoz (66') earned the visitors three points. There was also success for ÖFB team defender Kevin Danso with Tottenham. The Hotspurs won 4:1 (2:1) at Ipswich Town.

Record champions Manchester United missed a step out of the crisis. The Red Devils trailed 2-0 at Everton for a long time, but managed to salvage a 2-2 draw. Everton (14th) thus remained one point ahead of Man United (15th), with Tottenham (12th) and Crystal Palace (13th) in front.
