Styrian holiday job exchange: over after almost 30 years

The rush for summer jobs in Styria is on. If you want to work during the vacations, you should start thinking about applying now - for example to Austrian Post, which is looking for 300 delivery staff in Styria. The Styrian holiday job exchange will no longer exist this year.

The summer vacation is coming sooner than you think. Pupils and students who want to use this time to earn money and gain work experience should start applying for holiday jobs now.

Anyone who has looked around on the Styrian holiday job exchange of Logo Youth Management will no longer find what they are looking for this year: The platform was discontinued at the end of 2024 after almost 30 years due to declining demand. According to Logo Youth Management, young people are increasingly finding summer jobs via social media or in the traditional way via acquaintances or unsolicited applications.

Province launches job fair in March
Young Styrians (aged 18 and over) are likely to have good opportunities with Austrian Post. Between June and September this year, around 300 "summer postal workers" are being sought in Styria. Applications are now open.

The province of Styria is also a popular employer, offering over 100 summer jobs in various areas every year. Applications can be submitted from March 1 to 15 on the province's online job platform. Styrian industrial companies are also traditionally promising places to go; vacation jobs have already been advertised at Sappi in Gratkorn and Voestalpine/Böhler in Kapfenberg, among others.
