Tyrolean woman transferred money to online fraudster 32 times

Once again, a brazen internet fraudster has managed to take a lot of money out of the pockets of a gullible citizen in Tyrol through clever deception. A woman from Wörgl lost more than 10,000 euros.

At the weekend, the Tyrolean woman was contacted by a previously unknown man via a chat portal. "Through clever deception, he managed to trick the woman into buying online products", according to the police.

Money went into six different accounts
The woman then made no fewer than 32 transfers to six different accounts. "The loss amounts to a five-digit euro sum in the lower third", according to the police.
