Worried about “Mausi”: Christina Lugner in hospital!

Great concern for "Mausi" Lugner: the ex-wife of master builder Richard Lugner, who died last summer, is in hospital.

The new year starts with health worries for Christina Lugner. Five years ago, "Mausi" was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and Lugner had to undergo surgery.

The shock came during one of her regular check-ups: her results were suddenly "so bad" that she had to go to hospital, as she explained.

A CT scan and a gastroscopy as well as further examinations will now provide further information. "Let's see what comes out, but the results were really, really bad," said the otherwise so positive "Mausi" rather depressed.

At least there was some good news later: "Mausi" will be allowed to return home on Wednesday - and will probably even be allowed to fly to her adopted home of Tenerife the following day.
