Schumacher becomes a grandpa: daughter Gina is pregnant!

What wonderful news for Michael Schumacher's family so close to Christmas. The legendary Formula 1 champion is going to be a grandfather. His daughter Gina announced that she is pregnant in a delightful post on Instagram on Saturday. 

The 27-year-old show jumping and western rider will now have to take a short break. Her first child with husband Iain Bethke will be born in April, as she revealed to her followers on Instagram.

In a post with three pictures of a mini pony posing next to pink balloons and a photo next to a sign that reads: "My new rider arrives in April 2025", Michael Schumacher's daughter wrote: "We are impatiently awaiting the arrival of our little girl." A granddaughter that her mother Corinna and father Michael can look forward to. 

Married since September
Gina Schumacher said "I do" to her long-term partner Iain Bethke in Mallorca at the end of September. The ceremony, attended by family and friends, took place in summer temperatures at the family's vacation home on the Spanish Mediterranean island.

The couple have been together for seven years and had been engaged since summer 2023. Gina Schumacher wore a white dress with boho-style tattoo lace for the wedding, while her groom, who is a year older, wore a black suit with white stripes and a gray tie. 

The bride-to-be shared a photo of herself in her husband's arms on Instagram and wrote: "Forever yes to you, yes to forever", which roughly translates as: forever yes to you, yes forever.
