Recall: “Metallic foreign bodies” in muesli bars

Beware of eating certain "Made Good" brand muesli bars! The products could contain pieces of metal. The manufacturer has issued a precautionary recall. The bars are available in several stores in Austria.

The product is available throughout Europe. In Austria, for example, dm and the Rewe subsidiaries Billa, Penny, Bipa and Adeg offer "Made Good" brand products. 

Health risk cannot be ruled out
The reason for the recall is metallic foreign bodies that could be found in individual bars. A possible health risk cannot be ruled out and consumption of the products with the best-before dates concerned is not recommended, according to a press release.

The affected bars have already been withdrawn from sale. Anyone who already has one at home can return it without a receipt. 

The following bars are affected:

• MADE GOOD CHOCOLATE DRIZZLED GRANOLA BARS BIRTHDAY CAKE FLAVOUR 120G with best before date* 11.01.2025; 13.02.2025; 06.03.2025; 04.04.2025; 06.05.2025; 06.06.2025; 06.07.2025; 19.08.2025 and 21.08.2025

• MADE GOOD GRANOLA RIEGEL CHOCOLATE PIECES 144G with best before date* 30.05.2025; 14.06.2025; 05.07.2025; 14.09.2025; 24.10.2025; 11.11.2025 and 23.12.2025

• MADE GOOD GRANOLA RIEGEL MIXED FRUIT 144G with best before date* 22.05.2025; 27.06.2025; 20.10.2025; 24.11.2025 and 19.01.2026

• MADE GOOD CHOCOLATE DRIZZLED GRANOLA BARS VANILLA FLAVOUR 120G with best before date* 15.02.2025; 07.03.2025; 10.05.2025; 24.06.2025; 22.07.2025 and 27.08.2025

* Products with a "Z" after "Best before" are excluded from this recall.
