Vienna: Suspect arrested after bank robbery

An initially unknown perpetrator who robbed a bank in Vienna-Meidling on Wednesday has been arrested. The handcuffs clicked right at his home address.

The 31-year-old Austrian citizen confessed during his interrogation. The murder weapon, items of clothing that the man had been wearing during the crime and the cash were found and seized.

Robber stole a four-figure sum of cash
The robber is said to have entered the bank in Meidlinger Hauptstraße at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday and threatened the employees there with a weapon. He then fled from the bank with cash - a four-figure sum, according to the reports.
