Be careful in the dark and on wet roads!

The cold and wet winter weather causes problems for drivers. Spectacle wearers in particular have to contend with poor visibility. With our tips, you can keep a clear view and reach your destination safely despite all the weather adversities.

Drivers' eyes are currently under constant stress! Reflections of headlights on wet roads cause permanent glare and light irritation, as do rain and snow, which make the road and traffic even more confusing. The eyes are overstrained and drivers are unsettled. This leads to an increased risk of accidents.

Get the ideal glasses
People with eye problems often struggle even more. The following therefore applies to the ideal glasses for driving: they must have the right individual prescription and optimum glare protection to help when driving in adverse weather and poor visibility.

Anti-reflective lenses are particularly important. They prevent the wearer of glasses from being dazzled and thus disturbed by light reflections such as those from oncoming traffic. Lenses with an anti-reflective coating with integrated glare minimization have been specially developed for driving at night. They minimize the proportion of short-wave light and thus reduce disturbing reflections such as halo effects or rings of light even better.

Large lenses are recommended to ensure a sufficient field of vision. The narrowest possible frames and high-set, thinner temples also ensure unrestricted vision.
