Drug driver taken off the road in Salzburg

Clear smell of cannabis inside the vehicle: A 32-year-old Italian man attracted attention during a police check and lost his driver's license.

During the check on Wednesday night in the Salzburg city area, the police detected a distinct smell of cannabis in the Italian's vehicle. A medical officer subsequently confirmed that the driver was impaired by narcotics.

The driver's license was temporarily confiscated. He will be reported to the police.
