Eminem’s mother dead at 69

The mother of US rapper Eminem (52) is dead. According to several media outlets, citing a spokesperson for the musician, Debbie Nelson died at the age of 69. 

According to the celebrity portals "People" and "TMZ", Nelson died on Monday in a clinic in the US state of Missouri as a result of lung cancer.

So far, the rapper has not commented on his mother's death. 

Difficult relationship
The childhood and youth of Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, were characterized by poverty and accusations of violence and abuse.

He repeatedly made his mother look bad in his song lyrics. Nelson therefore sued her son for eleven million dollars. However, their relationship is said to have improved recently.
