Despite public transport problems: “Everyone gets to their destination”

Time and again there are delays in public transport, such as recently in Vienna when fire broke out in a special train on the U1 line. The obvious problems are also causing readers a great deal of concern. "Extremely unpleasant, at least for those who rely on public transport," says SveijkJosef and: "Then there are the disruptions that have been going on for months." Lack of alternatives
Some readers like sig-226 also show no understanding for having to pay the full price for their tickets despite disruptions, cancellations or other delays: "But passengers are allowed to pay the full price for weekly, monthly and annual tickets."
