The “Maestro” serves Hermann Maier’s favorite cake

"Let's just meet at 'Universum'", as most people in Salzburg have probably heard before. In future, people will meet at "Maestro by Eden" instead. The restaurant has moved into the new premises opposite the Festspielhäuser.

The restaurant, which aims to score points with an international sharing concept, opened on Tuesday in Hofstallgasse - directly opposite the Grosses Festspielhaus. "As we are located in the university building, we want to appeal to a broad target group," says manager Bettina Fleiss. So while there are discounted lunch offers for students, the champagne for festival guests is already waiting in the cooler.

How could it be otherwise these days: products from local producers are preferred on the menu. For example, the display case also contains cakes from former ski star Hermann Maier's favorite bakery! Theresa Jahoda from Puch regularly delivers the sweet temptations fresh from her "Süsserei" to the newly opened "Maestro".

In the warmer months, the delicacies can be enjoyed in the renovated guest garden in the inner courtyard. During the festival season, a bar will be added to the sales area in Hofstallgasse.
