Céline Dion celebrated a sparkling stage comeback

What a stage comeback! Céline Dion has now performed at a public show in Riyadh. It was only the second time the singer has appeared on stage after her year-long break.

In Saudi Arabia's capital, she sang some of her best-known hits such as "I'm Alive" and "The Power Of Love", as reported by the magazine "Vogue". It was her second time on stage and her third public appearance since the Paris show in July for the opening of the Olympic Games.

Dion appeared in a gold-colored evening gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, whose 45-year career the evening in Riyadh was dedicated to. A real goosebump moment, which was celebrated with a standing ovation for the singer.

On the red carpet, Dion posed in another dress by the designer, whom she hugged on stage at the end of her performance. Other stars on stage included Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry and Camila Cabello.

Only a few performances
Dion has suffered from the severe neurological disease stiff person syndrome with muscle spasms for several years.

At the Olympic Games in Paris, she sang in public during the opening ceremony for the first time since 2019. Because she reported problems walking and singing, it was questionable for a long time whether she would ever be able to perform again.
