Circus tent stolen: Donations to save the season

There is still no trace of the Circus Minelly tent that was stolen in mid-October. The director is fighting to keep it standing.

Hannes Pagger has tried everything, even offering a finder's reward, but his circus in western Styria is still without a tent. In mid-October - the circus director was on vacation - the "heart" of his business, including the trailer, was stolen from a parking lot. Total value according to Pagger: around 40,000 euros.

Financing and delivery deadlines cause headaches
Weeks later, the police are still in the dark and the clock is ticking for the director: no tent, no circus, the next season has to be planned slowly.

Pagger is now asking the local population for support for his institution, which he says has been offering more than 200 children circus air as a vacation program during the summer months for the past three years. Donations will be used to purchase a new tent and trailer "to save the children's summer", says Pagger. Delivery times and approval periods are at least six months, which is why haste is required.
