Teenager found stabbed on table in park

A 17-year-old was found lying on a table in Hermann-Leopoldi-Park in Vienna-Meidling on Sunday evening. According to information from the police, there had been a scuffle between young people. The victim's brother was also injured. Two suspects were arrested. 

The officers in Meidling were alerted to a fight in a park. The 17-year-old lying at the scene was quickly treated by the ambulance. It soon emerged that the victim had been in the park with other teenagers. Another group of teenagers then suddenly attacked them with a knife and pepper spray.

Younger brother also attacked by gang
The 17-year-old was stabbed in the upper part of his body. His 16-year-old brother was also injured by a blow to the face and the use of pepper spray. 

In the course of an immediate manhunt, several young people were stopped. Two young men were identified as suspects. The suspected weapons - two knives and a pepper spray - were also found and recovered. 

The two brothers received emergency medical treatment. The 17-year-old was taken to hospital but has already been discharged into home care. The two suspects are in police custody. Further investigations are underway.
