Planned Helene Fischer documentary comes to nothing!

Big disappointment for Helene Fischer fans! Netflix will not be giving any intimate insights into her life after all, as the streamer has already done very successfully with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, the Beckhams and Robbie Williams. 

A spokeswoman for the streaming provider told Deutsche Presse-Agentur on Tuesday that the documentary project with Fischer had not worked out. Bild" had previously reported that the project with the music star had fallen through.

Reasons remain a secret
Netflix had not officially announced anything about the documentary project in the past. However, there had been speculation in the media. The US streaming provider did not say anything about the reasons why the documentary fell through. A spokesperson for Fischer initially declined to comment.

Insights too deep?
It is suspected that the successful German singer may not have wanted to give as deep an insight into her private life as other stars have already done.

In the documentary "Harry & Meghan", for example, Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan took viewers on their flight to freedom after bidding adieu to the royal family or showed private footage of their children's birthday parties.

In "Beckham", Victoria and David confessed in detail how they met, and Robbie Williams opened up about drugs, alcohol and breakdowns in "Robbie Williams".
