Cobra raids apartment: cocaine smugglers in custody

After extensive investigations, the handcuffs clicked for two Slovenians in Völkermarkt (Carinthia). The duo allegedly smuggled cocaine across the border and sold it in Carinthia. 

Völkermarkt, Wolfsberg and St. Veit an der Glan - it was primarily in these three districts that the two suspects from Slovenia allegedly sold the white drug for a profit. After the duo had smuggled it across the border to Carinthia from their home country. According to the extensive investigations, the illegal business is believed to have been running since at least August 2023.

Numerous data carriers seized
Due to the strong suspicion, the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt ordered the arrest of the men - which was ultimately carried out by EKO Cobra officers at the home addresses of the suspected drug dealers (aged 31 and 32) in the district of Völkermarkt. During the house search, numerous data carriers, cell phones, a small amount of cocaine and several thousand euros in cash were seized.

Handed over to the judiciary
So far, the men have been proven to have sold 300 grams of cocaine to various customers in Carinthia. The two Slovenians were taken to Klagenfurt prison and will now be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt on suspicion of drug trafficking.
