There was a crash in the district of Deutschlandsberg (Styria) on Tuesday evening: A 75-year-old female driver collided with the cab bus of a 57-year-old man in Frauental an der Laßnitz. The latter crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into another car driver (40). All three people involved were taken to hospital with injuries.

Three people were injured in a collision at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Frauental an der Laßnitz. A 75-year-old woman from the Deutschlandsberg district is believed to have overlooked a cab bus when crossing Radlpass Straße (B 76), resulting in a crash.

Driver drove into the oncoming lane
The 57-year-old cab bus driver then drove into the oncoming lane, where there was another crash. An oncoming 40-year-old man from Graz was unable to brake fast enough in his car. All three drivers were alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident and suffered injuries of indeterminate severity.

After initial medical treatment, they were taken to different hospitals (Wagna and Graz). The scene of the accident was closed for around one and a half hours. In addition to 20 firefighters from the Frauental and Schamberg fire departments, the Red Cross and the Stainz and Deutschlandsberg police stations were also deployed.
