Italian restaurant closes after just ten months

A new tenant is being sought for the pizzeria in Hinterstoder. Yvonne O'Shannassy took over the restaurant at the end of last year. However, she is now quitting for several reasons. However, she will reopen her popular café "Fleischerei" in the center of the ski resort after the summer break. 

After just ten months, it's over! Yvonne O'Shannassy is closing her pizzeria in Hinterstoder again. "There were many small reasons for this. We wisely signed the lease for just one year," explains the restaurateur.

In spring, she terminated the contract for the restaurant, which had long been known as Dorfstub'n, in good time. On October 18, it will be "closing time" for the last time. After a few days of cleaning, a longer break in Australia, her husband's home country, is on the agenda.

New concept for "Fleischerei" 
"We are returning to Hinterstoder just in time for the start of the winter season. I will certainly open the 'Fleischerei' again. I'm now thinking about what exactly the concept will look like during the break in my second home," says O'Shannassy.

Café taken over nine years ago
The café with the somewhat unusual name was closed during the summer season. "Since the cable car has been on the outskirts of the village, we've lost the footfall." O'Shannassy took over the "butcher's shop" and three vacation apartments in the heart of the ski resort nine years ago.
