This Carinthian woman saved the farm of a stranger

Lina Rogy triggered a wave of helpfulness with a fundraising campaign - and saved the farm of an Upper Austrian woman. Without even knowing her!

"I heard about Sabine's fate and just had to help!" recalls Lina Rogy (30) from Kerschdorf/Velden on the day that changed Sabine Hinterberger's life.

The farmer from Upper Austria was on the verge of losing her farm - that's when the 30-year-old part-time farmer launched a fundraising campaign: "Over 200,000 euros were raised and the auction of my farm could be postponed," says Hinterberger full of gratitude.

The two women didn't even know each other: "I only saw her for the first time on the day of the planned auction." Nevertheless, they both immediately felt a connection to each other: "We fell into each other's arms," says Lina, who is being honored as a "Krone" heart person this year.

"We haven't realized it yet," the farmers' wives agree. "But I believe that everyone gets what they deserve!" Lina is certain.
