Woman (20) remains in intensive care after crash

On September 21, a 20-year-old woman wanted to get into the VIP area of a music event at the Stadtgalerien in Schwaz, Tyrol. Together with two companions, she tried to get past a terrace barrier. The attempt ended in the intensive care unit at Innsbruck Hospital. The woman is still there. 

As reported, the accident occurred during the night of Saturday, September 21. While trying to climb over the terrace barrier, "the woman probably slipped. As a result, she fell around ten to 15 meters and presumably landed on the grass verge next to the main road passing by", according to the police.

The 20-year-old is still in intensive care at the hospital.

Condition unchanged
The young Tyrolean woman was so seriously injured by the impact that she was put into artificial deep sleep in the intensive care unit of the Innsbruck hospital. When asked by Johannes Schwamberger, the hospital's spokesman, "the woman's condition is unchanged. She is still in the intensive care unit". 

The woman's companions fled the scene after the crash. There is still no trace of them.
