Burglar stole a few hundred euros from an apartment

An unknown person broke into an apartment in Innsbruck at the weekend, stole several hundred euros and left behind considerable property damage. The investigation is ongoing.

The perpetrator struck between Thursday and Sunday. "The unknown person gained access to an apartment in an apartment building in Innsbruck-Pradl by unscrewing the outside blind on the balcony and prying open the balcony door with an unknown tool," according to the police.

Entire apartment ransacked
The entire apartment was ransacked and an amount of cash in the three-digit euro range was stolen. "The break-in caused property damage of a currently unknown amount," said the police.
