“Mrs. Grete” killed: Suspect arrested

At the beginning of September, a previously unknown person broke into the garden shed of a 91-year-old woman from Floridsdorf and killed the defenceless senior citizen in cold blood. There was no trace of the suspect for several weeks. Until now. The police have now arrested a 52-year-old Slovakian who is suspected of having brutally murdered "Mrs. Grete".

On September 4, police found the dead 91-year-old senior citizen lying in bed with serious injuries to her head. There was no trace of the suspect. But a few weeks later, the suspect was arrested in a village in Slovakia (Cakanovce).

Sexual abuse
According to the autopsy, "Mrs. Grete" was hit against the head with a blunt object and sexually abused. Whether the weapon was found in the cottage is unclear, as is the question of whether the perpetrator(s) took any valuables from the house. Further details are under investigation.

Motive still unclear
It is still unclear whether there are other accomplices. Further investigations are already in full swing. The motive is also completely unclear.
