ÖTV trio out in the round of 16 in Bad Waltersdorf!

Austria is no longer represented in the singles competition of the Challenger tournament in Bad Waltersdorf!

Filip Misolic was defeated 4:6, 6:7(3) in the round of sixteen on Thursday by the Serbian Laslo Djere, ranked 6th. A comeback by the 23-year-old Styrian in the second set after being 2:4 and 0:30 down went unrewarded.

Last year's finalist Dennis Novak was also eliminated, losing 3:6, 2:6 to the top seeded Spaniard Jaume Munar. Sandro Kopp was also eliminated.

The 24-year-old Tyrolean lost the first match of the day on the center court of the Sportaktivpark against the number 2 seeded Brazilian Thiago Monteiro 1:6, 6:7(4).
