Animal abuser prepared sausages with glass splinters

The police in the Tyrolean Stubai Valley are currently investigating attempted cruelty to animals. A walker's dog had tracked down sausages in a wooded area near Neustift that had been prepared with shards of glass. More bait of this kind was discovered. 

Shortly before midday on Sunday, a local man (21) was walking his dog in a wooded area on Höhlebachstraße in Neustift. The dog tracked down a pair of Frankfurter sausages. The 21-year-old was only just able to prevent the four-legged friend from devouring the supposed treat.

The dog's owner noticed that the sausages were covered in broken glass. He informed the police. They discovered more bait of this kind in the wooded area right next to the cave stream.
