Drunk driver collides at junction in Zell am See

An accident occurred on the B178-Loferer Straße in Zell am See on Sunday. A 35-year-old driver wanted to turn into Loferer Straße at the junction of Loferer Straße and Saalfeldnerstraße. However, he disregarded the source traffic.

The consequences of this carelessness were not long in coming: he collided with the car of a 39-year-old man who also wanted to turn off.

When the accident was investigated, the 35-year-old was found to have an alcohol level of 1.18 per mille. His driver's license was confiscated and he will be reported to the BH Zell am See.

Both drivers were uninjured, but there was considerable damage to the vehicles.
