“Smoke” in cabin causes panic during flight

When what appeared to be white smoke spread through the cabin of a domestic flight in China, some passengers panicked. This was due to a rare - and fortunately harmless - phenomenon.

The incident occurred in mid-August on a flight between the Chinese cities of Yangzhou and Changchun. Due to the fog, it was only possible to see a few rows of seats forward in the cabin - behind them, everything disappeared in the white haze.

Fortunately, the bizarre phenomenon was completely harmless - cold air had flowed in from the outside and condensed. The passengers were not endangered.
