Head-on crash leaves three injured

There was a head-on collision in the Faistenau district of Vordersee on Monday morning: the two drivers - a 29-year-old Afghan and a 74-year-old German - and the German's passenger (75) were injured. 

The 29-year-old lost control of his car in a long right-hand bend on Hinterseestraße. He veered left into oncoming traffic and was unable to avoid a collision with the car of a 74-year-old German.

All three people involved suffered injuries. They were taken to the University Hospital and the Salzburg Accident Hospital by the Red Cross. Alcohol was not involved.
