Next bombshell? WAC have ex-Klagenfurt on their list!

Bundesliga club WAC are still looking for a striker - according to information from "Krone", a former Austria Klagenfurt striker is now on the list! And Scott Kennedy turned down an offer from Germany.

Well, boom! The next transfer bombshell at WAC is in the offing. After the much-discussed transfer of Nico Wimmer from Austria Klagenfurt to the Lavanttal, the Wolfsberg officials have now landed the next ex-Violet: Markus Pink!

Not as "number one"
The former Austria striker is currently only second choice at German third division club Sandhausen - and would therefore not be averse to a move. According to information from Krone, the 33-year-old is on the WAC management's shortlist - not as a number one striker, but as another option!

Sandhausen boss Matthias Imhof doesn't know anything about it yet. "I haven't received an offer from the WAC. I am still planning with Pink. But if there is something, I will probably find out soon," said the manager.

Contract until 2025
Pink has one year left on his contract at Sandhausen and has already told the "Krone": "I've told the club that I'm open to anything."

Saarbrücken offer rejected
WAC defender Scott Kennedy, meanwhile, rejected an offer from German third division club Saarbrücken. According to Imhof, Florian Rieder is no longer an issue at Sandhausen.
